Camino De Wexford FC in aid of Wexford Marinewatch

Fundraiser for Wexford MarineWatch and Wexford FC/Wexford Youths Womens FC.
Target: to raise funds through sponsorship of our virtual walk/run to transverse all League of Ireland grounds (1262Km) during the month of July 2021.
As a supporter of Wexford FC and Wexford Youths Womens FC I believe that our local league of Ireland team should operate within the best possible environment to allow the success of the teams. Although Ferrycarrig Park is a great facility to football in Wexford, it is clear that there are obvious improvements that can be made that will benefit all who fall under the WFC and WYWFC teams both senior and junior levels. In addition, improvements to Ferrycarrig Park facilities will greatly benefit local football in Wexford.
'Wexford MarineWatch’ is a voluntary organisation which provides Suicide Prevention Patrols along Wexford Quays, Estuary & Harbour. Unsupported by government funds Wexford Marine Watch provide vital suicide prevention and water safety support to the people of Wexford.
As someone who has recently lost my brother to suicide, I would love to see Wexford MarineWatch receive funds to enable their dedicated volunteers be supported in performing the service provided by this excellent local charity.
Following discussion with members for WFC/WYWFC and Wexford Marine Watch funds raised during this event will be split evenly between the organisations.
Funds raised for WFC/WYWFC will be used to improve facilities at Ferrycarrig Park and funds raised for Wexford MarineWatch will be used to cover overheads such as Vehicles, Diesel, Searchlights, Throw-bags, First Aid, Training, Foul-weather Clothing, Radios, Maintenance, Storage, Postage etc.
The 'Camino De Wexford FC (in aid of Wexford MarineWatch)' will run from the 1st July 2021 to the 31st July 2021 with the aim of raising funds for these organisations. Funds raised will help improve facilities for these local Wexford organisations for the benefit of the Wexford community.
