Camille Raimo needs a little help due to illness

Camille is 51 years old and we have been married going on 32 years now.  The photo posted here was taken 2 years ago on July 4th, a happy, healthy time for her.  Our goal is to get her back to the happy, healthy woman in that picture!  Camille's lungs have had a rough go of it lately as she was hospitalized 2 times in the last 12 months with serious lung infections.  She had not even healed completely from the last infection when the most recent occurrence resulted in a New Years Hospital admission.

During the beginning of the Holiday season, she started having trouble breathing but thought that it was just a severe asthma attack.  So, she used her rescue meds and tried to continue to fill orders for our online business (making little mealworm eating critters all over the lower 48 states  happy with our vitamin enriched mealworms we sell at vita-mealie.com  ) and wait until her doctor's office reopened after New Years to seek medical attention.  However, on  January 1st I had to rush her to the hospital when she began coughing up blood and could not take even a small breath without excruciating pain to the right middle side of her back.   She was admitted to critical care with Bi-lateral Pneumonia and Pleurisy and was told that she had recently aspirated quite a large amount into both of her lungs which probably got the whole Pneumonia and Pleurisy thing started.  The ER doctor was most worried  that her lungs could become abscessed since she was coughing up blood which in turn scared her even worse, so once admitted to critical care, they began aggressively treating her with several different antibiotics (they weren't sure which one would be the most beneficial since her culture would take up to 5 days to show what she needed).  Luckily after getting lots of IV antibiotics and steroids in the hospital, she began to feel better and was released to continue treatment at home with oxygen and oral medicines,  but it is going to take a long while of course for her to recover completely.

With 2019 literally starting the day I rushed her to the ER, insurance deductibles had of course started over.  And so both her ER visit and Hospital stay, as well as the many medicines she is on are all 100% out of pocket until the deductible is met.  Unfortunately, Camille had also been hospitalized for a bacterial lung infection last February too (not long into the 2018 New Year), which meant the same thing with the insurance deductibles at that time, and therefore we are still playing catch up with all of those bills.   So, with that already weighing on our minds, this time has both of us very worried about how we are going to even  purchase food and other day to day needs until we get back on our feet, let alone make ends meet with the hospital and medication bills.   In addition to Camille's insurance deductibles and medications being such a worry, until she heals up more, we are unable to operate our online business. Plus, I also had a pretty serious health issue pop up of my own just a few days after Camille was admitted to the hospital that required medical attention.  This has resulted in me having to be out of work at my full time job as well and my health insurance deductible is also not met.  So, it is very true what they say- when it rains, it pours!

Camille loves animals more than anything in the world and is always fighting to be their voice when they need one. She (and I ) feel that even the tiniest of souls deserve love, respect and dignity, and she would much rather be helping their cause than asking for help.  It always feels great to offer help to others, not so great to ask for it, but everyone needs a little help from time to time. Camille's New Year has really gotten off to a rocky start, so this is me asking for help to get it back on track  to a healthy and happy year! Any help would be more than appreciated.
