CAMERAS FOR THE NL, WTFD, & EL ANIMAL SHELTER

UPDATE: Thank you to ALL who donated and shared. In discussion with the City of New London we have now raised enough to purchase the camera system! We could not have done this without all your help.

Additional Update: For transparancy purposes go fund me as requested that we update our campaign with the bank transfer process. The Waterford Lions does not have a physical address we utilize a P.O. Box. Go fund me will not allow the funds to be released under these circumstances. As the VP of the Waterford Lions, Melissa Yuchniuk will be depositing the funds and then transferring them to the Lions Account. From this account, Waterford Lions will issue a check made payable to the City of New London for the camera's to be installed on the shelter building.

Help the Waterford Lions purchase cameras for the safety of the New London, Waterford, & East Lyme Animal Shelter.

On July 4th, some inconsiderate humans shot fireworks at and into the Animal Shelter, scaring the already frightened dogs that were housed there. The scene was garbage and debris-filled kennels, chunks of firework cardboard littering the roof and grounds surrounding the shelter, and even an area of burned grass where a small fire had begun. Luckily during this incident, none of the animals were harmed, but to ensure the safety of the animals residing within the shelter, The Waterford Lions is working with the ACOs from Waterford / East Lyme & New London to purchase cameras for the building.
