ABOUT GOGLOBAL:
Curtin University's GoGlobal Program gives students studying a health profession the opportunity to travel to a less advantaged country with the aim of contributing to their community and healthcare system.

In June to July this year, an inter-professional group consisting of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetic and nursing students will be staying in Cambodia. During this 5 week period, we will be working alongside local staff, clients and students at the Military Handicap Development Centre (MHDC) and Grace House Community Centre.

MHDC:
MHDC is a community centre with clients presenting with fractures, amputations, brain injury and strokes, etc. Our team will work towards increasing these individual's quality of life as well as educate their families about health-related topics.

Below is the link to their Facebook page.

GRACE HOUSE COMMUNITY CENTRE:
Grace House Community Centre revolves around educating the next generation to be self-sufficient, healthcare education and family support. At this site, our team will focus on serving the community as well as managing and treating children with disabilities to assist them with their every day tasks (learning, playing with friends, eating, etc) and develop cognitive, physical, sensory, communication and social skills.

OUR PROJECT:
Currently (9/4/18) our project is still being brainstormed. Ideas about how to maximize the importance of health, tools and equipment used for physical examinations and furniture and learning equipment for schools have been mentioned. However, in the end we are still indecisive. Our project description will be updated as soon as we are clear on our project.

The remaining money (if any) after completing out project will go to providing the clinic and community with the medical resources they need to improve their quality of life. These may include walking aids, wheelchairs, specialised equipment for hands/arms and equipment for the clinic itself.

All your generous donations from this page will be placed towards this project to better Cambodia's education, health services, and/or resources.

**This gofundme fundraising activity will not, in any way be used for personal travel expenses or be used to cover the cost of the program.

Thank you for helping us!
