Cambodia volunteering 2021 Camps International

I am raising money for a volunteering trip to Cambodia (July 2021) where I will be working with local charity groups to undertake activities such as;



Environmental Conservation to support sustainability of the local area, this includes doing things like:

·        Planting trees

·        Cleaning plastic from local beaches

·        Building wildlife habitats

And also local community work, including:

·        Building bridges

·        Building toilets

·        Farming

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world, and after the murderous regime of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge, many people are living in awful conditions, and unable to get enough to eat or drink. Your money will go towards helping these people and making their lives better.

I am aiming to raise £1,000 before May 1 2021 and every penny would help. I am currently doing all I can to raise this money on my own, like selling some of my possessions on eBay, but due to Covid-19, it is difficult to do most other forms of fundraising, so any support would be very much appreciated.

To help with fundraising, I have planned a sponsored walk with my Dad. This walk goes from Bangor, Northern Ireland to Londonderry/Derry, Northern Ireland, or in other words we will be walking from the east to the west of Northern Ireland.  (approximately 80 miles)
