<div>After living in the United States for over 20 years — since he was just a child — our dear friend Luis was recently deported to Mexico, a country he has no memory of and where he knows no one.

<div>Luis was more than just a familiar face in Lakeway — he was a dedicated, law-abiding, tax-paying member of our community. He worked hard, gave back, and touched many lives with his kindness, integrity, and humility. From volunteering locally to simply being there when you needed a helping hand, Luis was a quiet force of good.

<div>Now, he faces a heartbreaking and overwhelming situation: alone in a foreign land, without family, friends, a job, or a place to call home.
