CALVIN'S ADDICTION RECOVERY

First, thank you so much for clicking the link and reading. It's difficult to tell someone else's story and appeal to the public for help, but if there was ever a time that it was needed, now is it.

I am Calvin's wife. In October of 2015, my husband found his grandfather dead. It was heartbreaking for all of us, but especially scary for Calvin as he has battled with addiction for years. This experience caused him so much pain, guilt and depression. Calvin desperately wants to get clean and healthy but a major barrier for this is the cost of treatment.

Calvin is currently in a detox facility but ultimately needs a long term, structured care program with a dual-focus on addiction and grief counseling. Unfortunately he lost his job and insurance coverage just when he needed it most. Calvin's insurance has been terminated as of November 4th, 2020 and without coverage for a 60-day program that will provide a stable foundation on which to build his recovery. A sober-living facility with specialization in dual diagnosis and treatment is key to that success, but the cost is over $10,000.

My family's most immediate need is to get Calvin the care and support he needs. He has four children and myself that are depending on him and rooting for him to return home the wonderful man and father that we know him to be. By donating to this, you are contributing to Calvin's first month in a treatment program- every little bit helps and I can't tell you how much Calvin and our family appreciates your love and support.
