Calvin W. Sims Jr. passed away on November 27th, 2017 at the age of 55. He was a charming and warm-hearted man who was born in Dayton, Ohio but spent a majority of his life in New York and North Carolina.
An author, a musician, and an artist - Calvin had an entrepreneurial spirit, was fiercely independent, and craved creativity and freedom. As a father, Calvin was playful and warm. He loved to see children excited, playing in and experimenting with the world around them. After raising four children, he retired to Fayetteville, NC were he lived the remainder of his life.
All funds are to be used to pay for his funeral arrangements. His son, Calvin III, will be in charge of the the funds and expenses.
