Callum, Isla & Serge's 250k in June

Donation protected
Callum, Isla and Serge are three caring Glasgow youngsters who will run 250 kilometres this June to raise £1,000 for the Glasgow Royal Infirmary Dorcas Charitable Trust, helping to make hospital stays more comfortable for patients and supporting people in need. https://www.gridorcastrust.org/

All nine years old and from Glasgow’s West End, they decided to beat the lockdown blues by devising a plan to have fun, stay fit and champion this small charity. The Trust also helps patients to make the transition from hospital to home, through providing clothing, cleaning services and other essential resources to vulnerable people across the city, and profits from the hospital’s Mabel Tearoom are poured back into the charity.

The energetic trio will keep a daily total of their progress, running separately but united by their ultimate goal. One of the participants, football fan Callum said: “We’ve been friends for more than five years and missing seeing each other since the lockdown started.  We were chatting together online and came up with the idea to do the run.  We can’t wait to make it to our 250K target and raise money for patients at the Royal Infirmary”
