Mike & JaChan's Legacy-Callon Girls

Donation protected
This page is being established in honor of the memory of Dr. JaChan Arnean Callon to help provide ongoing support to her husband Michael and her three beautiful daughters JaSole' (3), Jasmine and Janiya (9 months).

Unfortunately on July 25, 2015 while celebrating her 16th wedding anniversary with her husband Michael at Martha's Vineyard, Dr. Callon suffered a massive heart attack and departed this earth on July 26, 2015.

Anyone who had any encounter with JaChan, loved her. Her kind, thoughtful spirit and jovial laugh could make anyone's day. Even though JaChan loved her family and friends dearly, her greatest gifts of all were her three adorable daughters and her husband Michael.

JaChan has truly left a legacy behind. Michael has been thrust into being a single father to 3 amazing little girls. Even though he is more than capable meeting the challenge of parenting 3 little DIVAS, he will need continuous support from generous family and friends like  you! Please help us to help Michael exceed this goal for the Callon Girls. No donation is too small. Thanks to each of you for your support of the Callon family.

Dr. JaChan Arnean Campbell was born in Temple, Texas on January 14, 1977 to the union of Danny Campbell and Judy Winston-Campbell. JaChan accepted Christ at an early age.

JaChan attended grammar school at Charles S. Deneen and was inspired at an early age by one of her best teachers, Ms. Arbor, to become a doctor. She continued the pursuit of her dream by attending Lindblom Technical High School in Chicago, Illinois. JaChan then enrolled in the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned degrees in Biology and Psychology, graduating with honors in 1999. She earned her medical degree in 2007 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, completed her residency in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital and was employed at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin from 2010 until her homecoming.

In 1999, JaChan married her high-school sweetheart, Michael Callon, with whom she enjoyed sixteen years of marriage. JaChan dreamed of becoming a mother and was blessed with four daughters the first of which preceded her in death, leaving three loving daughters who will remember her forever. JaChan was an accomplished academic and professional but her proudest moment was being a mother. She showered her daughters with unconditional love and unwavering devotion.

She is affectionately known as "Chany" to some and "Granny" to others. Her cheerful, infectious laugh is instantly recognizable, and her devotion to family and friends are hallmarks of her loving, compassionate personality. JaChan was known for her positive, nurturing, and supportive spirit, which brightened the lives of her family, friends and patients.

JaChan departed this life on July 26, 2015 at 8:04am in Boston, Massachusetts. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Michael Callon and their three beautiful daughters: JaSole`, Jasmine, and Janiya.

Her cherished memories will burn brightly in the hearts of her mother, Judy Winston-Campbell; mother-in-law, Judy Washington; sisters Danje`, Danchell, and Tranquita; sisters-in-law Crystal and Kimberly; brother, Carl; aunts Betty and Fannie; uncles Godfrey, Chris, Kim, and Jerry; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

JaChan will be remembered by many friends and co-workers.
