Chloe is an 8 year old girl that has always been full of spirit and has a huge caring heart. For her eighth birthday, all she wanted to was spread kindness like confetti. They went around town and donated food to local animal shelters, brought hospital workers donuts, and left kindness sticky notes on people cars in a parking lot. She has always been strong and determined to achieve her goals, especially in cheerleading.
In January, Chloe had to go in for an MRI and was diagnosed with Central Conducting Lymphatic Anomaly. Her lymphatic system (which should run through your body to help keep your immune system running and provide your body with the nutrients you need) constantly leaks through her body and drains out. This happens when their is obstruction or blockage in the channels and the fluid has no where to go.
They have had to stay in several hospitals for a lengthy amount of time. During that time, they set up a game plan with her amazing hematology/oncology doctor at Children’s Hospital of Kings Daughters to be transported to UNC Chapel Hill for the procedures she needs to be on the road to recovery. This pandemic has made it harder on Emily and Caison because only one parent can be with her at a time. Chloe has been so strong and brave through everything that she has gone through uncountable iv’s, pain, and PiCC Line surgery. She has an amazing team of doctors who are working with her to try to find the right medications and procedures to help her get back to her spunky, kind, healthy self.
Anyone that knows this family knows they would help anyone out at the drop of a hat. Emily does so well managing being a teacher, volunteering at her church, and being a mother. While Caison works long nights and hard shifts on the railroad to help provide for his family, as well as, being an amazing father. They are always lending a helping hand to others.
Your donation will help cover some of their medical costs and travel expenses during this time as they are having to go to Children's Hospital of King's Daughters in Norfolk often for her appointments, as well as, travel to UNC for surgical procedures.
Now, its our turn to help such a deserving family during this difficult time. They have always put their faith in God and let God direct their path for them. Let's stand behind this family and spread kindness like Chloe always wants others to do! Let's take some of the financial burden off of them to show them that we care and support them.
Together Chloe will overcome this disease and her parents won't be left with such a financial strain.
Give it all to God and He will take care of the rest!
