call me 2007 Britney ( I’m shaving my head lol )

Now I know this is extremely impulsive of me, but it occurred to me that as a female it is one of the most empowering things you can do! And if you know me you knowwwww that once I think about doing something, I become obsessed with it until I do it. Sooooo f* it, I’m going to shave my head, and why not and raise some $$$ at the same time. You gots to try everything once.(*^‿^*)

I think for most women our hair is something that defines us; And i really want the act of me shaving my head to represent defying these beauty stereotypes; which is also relevant to the charity I want to donate the money too... EDFA or known as Eating Disorders Families Australia. This is the organisation i’ve chosen to donate all the generous dosh provided by yours truly to. Someone needs this more than I do, especially my bestfriend Ruby, ( you could sorta say dis is all for her ). (◕‿◕) It is so incredibly important to recognise that eating disorders are a serious and deadly mental illness. We all should to do a little more in breaking the stigma related to eating disorders, learn how to help loved ones and most importantly how to seek help. Ruby’s mum and dad, Lynn and David; and the team on the board do insane work in providing support for families and carers and helping uncover the horrible reality of this disease. All the mulla will go towards family support groups, peer mentoring and provide greater education so sufferers have a better chance at a full recovery.
