<div>In October 2026, Professor Taylor and a coalition of survivor-advocates will walk 750km from Melbourne to Parliament House in Canberra to present a national petition demanding action. This walk represents the long, isolating journey many survivors face - often without recognition, support, or justice.

<div>While Australia’s previous Royal Commission addressed institutional abuse, it explicitly excluded abuse occurring within families - despite global evidence showing that approximately 50% of child sexual abuse is perpetrated by family members.

<div>Intrafamilial abuse remains one of the most hidden and underreported forms of harm. Survivors often face stigma, disbelief, and systemic barriers to protection and justice.
</div>

<div>This campaign seeks to change that - by securing bipartisan support for a new Royal Commission, establishing a National Survivor Council, and creating the first dedicated national inquiry into abuse within the home.
