Calissa's Mobility

Calissa is a brave, fun 5th-grade fashionista who enjoys playing, camp, and arts and crafts activities. She's amazingly trying to keep up with her twin brother and same-aged peers despite her different abilities. At birth, she was diagnosed with Amyoplasia Multiplex Congenita(AMC). As much as possible, she likes to get up and go. Recently, Calissa has experienced some growth spurts and taken a few falls. The last resulted in a soft cast. Next year, she'll be attending middle school and the amount of walking will necessitate a motorized chair. The motorized chair will allow her to keep up with life and maintain her current level of independence. As she grows bigger and gets older it is getting harder for me to pick her up and carry her, and since the fall even harder for her to get around with one arm support. She's a hard fighter and keeps on going but the amount of work she puts in to keep up often leaves her very fatigued.  We're asking that you please help improve her quality of life and contribute towards Calissa's Mobility!
