Calip's Campaign

If you know the Calip's, you know they are the most giving couple.  They would do anything to help someone out in a time of need.  Well, it is our turn to help the Calip's out in THEIR time of need.  Neal  had a successful knee replacement on June 19th BUT as he was about to leave the hospital he had severe chest pains...turned out to be a Saddle Block Pulmonary Embolism.  Thank goodness he was still in the hospital...he survived! (Most don't) He was forced to extend his stay in the hospital.  By the end of July he was finally out of the hospital and making strides in Physical Therapy.  He was hoping to start school with the  kids at his new school (and he was even talking about being able to coach.)  Unfortunately, Neal encountered a slip and fall on July 30th (school starts August 1st) and was rushed back to the hospital by ambulance.   Neal being Neal always has to do it big...he had exploritory surgery on August 3rd and ended up having reconstruction of the Patellar Tendon.  While all of this was  going on...he was fighting an agressive infection!  His leg must stay immobilized and he will be on a very strong antibiotic for at least 6 weeks.  Neal has not been able to reurn to work and is projected to be out of work until sometime in October.  The hospital and doctor  bills are starting to roll in and both Alicia and Neal have exhausted their sick leave. Neal is now on unpaid leave from the district and Alicia is the only one working. I know they will be forever greatful for your help and genorousity...so please "help a brother out" (in the words of Neal Calip)  I am asking for you to open your hearts (and wallets) to give to these absolutley amazing people.  Every little bit helps.
