Desert Dogs - Saving one life at a time

Donation protected
"Saving one dog may not change the world.
But it will change the world for that dog."

For some heartless reason, the Californian desert is used as a dumping ground for unwanted animals. Miles in the middle of nowhere, dogs (and other animals) are left to fend for themselves in an environment which is harsh and dangerous. Many wander for days looking for the owner who betrayed them, or water, and food. They are chased from homes they come across at best, and are at risk of being shot or injured through encounters with people who are less favorable towards animals. They will die from exposure or starvation.

Roland Vincent has seen more than his share of animals in need. He is saving the abandoned dogs as he can, and helping the lost dogs as he goes. He's more than one person though. He's the people who help with networking to find animals homes. The people who adopt animals. The people who kindly give supplies or financial assistance as they can.

Desert Dogs is not a charity; funds are Roland Vincents own money, which every rescuer will know, doesn't go far when it comes to helping animals. During an ongoing operation to help three stray dogs; one with a litter of puppies, people expressed their wish that there was a way they could contribute a little money towards the costs. This is to allow everyone who would like to, help make a difference to these dogs, and the ones who follow them.

There is also a Facebook page which has been set up to provide a place for people to network lost and found animals, and has awareness posters available for sharing, as well as updates, and news.

What is the money used for?
All contributions will go directly to, and solely for the animals. Money will help pay for rescues, food, vet bills, spaying and neutering, transporting animals to foster or forever homes, and locating where possible, worried owners of a much loved dog.
Thank you in advance for your support. Every little really does help. Tragic that the life of a stray can hang in the balance for the want of a bowl of water and a bag of food. We aren't all in the position of being able to take all, or any animals into our homes. But we can help those who do. No act of kindness, is ever too small.
