Help Tiara Pay For The CA Bar Exam

One day I had a dream. Be a lawyer. More specifically, be a public interest lawyer and serve the underserved and indigent communities. It was a three step plan (still is but, I've had to add a few extra steps since 2014).
Step one: Get into and graduate from law school. Check.
Step two: Take and pass the bar exam. This is where you come in.
Step three: Land my dream job. I'm going to make this happen.
After 4 and a half years I finally graduated from law school (Dec. 2018). There's just one thing keeping me from my dream - the California State Bar Exam.
It's expensive. It's very expensive. I've been working for over a year trying to save for this moment but, life happened and continues to happen.
I've already submitted my registration. Here's what's left for me to do and pay for:
- Moral Character Application: $551.
- LiveScan Fingerprinting: up to $75.
- Bar Prep Materials: $3000 - $4000 (depending on the company)
- Hotel during the exam: No less than $150/night*
Is a hotel necessary?
For me, yes. I am a full-time wheelchair user and rely on public transportation. This can be very unreliable. I do not want to miss the exam (there are rules for lateness) just because I could not get their on time.
What if you surpass the goal?
Any additional funds will be used to replace my income. Studying for the bar is a full-time endeavor (40+ hours/week). Some people get by on part-time studying (about 20 hours/week). No matter what, I will have to leave my job to dedicate my time where it needs to be - Bar Prep.
What if you don't meet the goal?
I'll have to figure it out. I'm not letting this go. I've worked too hard and many people (including the online community) have invested in my success.
Will we know if you passed the bar?
OF COURSE! Listen, all of you have a stake in this. I feel like we're in this together at this point. You've donated (hopefully) or boosted my campaign. I will most certainly keep you updated. I sincerely hope you can help me reach this goal. Your help will get me the materials I need to study, some peace of mind in the weeks leading up to the exam, and that much closer to doing what I was born to do - Law.
But I can do none of that without your help.
