Hello, I am Caleb Adams from Raleigh, NC. I am sixteen years old and currently a sophomore at Broughton High School where I also play on the soccer team. I have also played basketball for many years in the AAU club league. I have been given the opportunity of studying abroad in New Zealand. I arrived here in Auckland, NZ on January 30. And, I could use your help if you can offer it.
I have been accepted for the Foreign Exchange Study program through AFS-USA (www.afs-usa.org) because I want to experience and see how it is to live in another country other than the USA. I am excited to meet new people and friends in other parts of this world. As a bilingual English/Spanish speaker, I traveled to Nicaragua this past summer to help translate on a volunteer team but it was only a short term trip. This opportunity of being in New Zealand will be a five month experience lasting through July 2015.
So far I have raised the funds to get here. I need your help to raise the rest to cover some expenses while I am here. As a donor to this program, you will receive bi-weekly updates from my blog as I archive my experience and you will make a huge difference in my life.
