Hi everyone, I am setting up this go fund me to help support Caleb and Rylee during this challenging season of their lives. Caleb is facing more surgeries as an infection has set into the hardware previously installed in his leg, and they are expecting their sweet Lily grace in December. Below I have added a short story explaining in depth what is going on and some ways your financial contribution would be used. Caleb and Rylee appreciate you all so much and are so thankful for your support during this trying time. Explanation of the situation from Rylee:  “It feels like we’re starting over. It’s been over a year now since Caleb’s fall. Today is a year since his major reconstructive surgery. Last week we found out he’s in for another round.

Caleb has a deep infection in his leg they suspect has been growing for eight months. They will have to remove the hardware, clean him out, do a six week IV antibiotic treatment, complete a complicated plastic surgery, send him through skin rehab, and then have a second corrective reconstruction surgery. 

The new surgical team says this will be a long road, with the first surgery requiring 2-3 weeks in the ICU and then inpatient in Denver. After a few months of recovery, they’ll bring him back for the third surgery.

Caleb is back to six months or more of not walking. He’s on full medical leave from work again. He’s trying to be positive, but this is a major complication neither of us were expecting… especially when we’re expecting! 

Last year was so hard to get through, and we’re on our way back to a similar place. Please pray that our spirits would not be defeated and that the moments that land me feeling swallowed by overwhelm would not claim me as often as they threaten to.” Ways your contribution would be used:
