We call Cait an honourary founding member of Pride Outside Peterborough - she attended one of our very first events in 2022 and has been a pivotal figure of our group ever since. She spearheads Pride Outside’s queer hockey events and is an active member of the Peterborough-area hockey community as a player, a coach, and a referee. She is a reliable friend, a fantastic parent to the coolest 13 year old, and a proud trans woman.

After a long wait, Cait is getting gender affirming surgery this spring! Thankfully this surgery is covered by OHIP, but there are considerable out-of-pocket expenses, including travel, medication, aftercare, and time off work required for recovery. Even after many months of planning and saving, Cait needs some extra support from the community as she heals.
