<div>Six months ago, our beautiful fulla Cairo was an active, strong, vibrant young man. He was full of energy, laughter, and life. Then everything changed.

<div>After a sudden and frightening decline in his mobility, medical specialists discovered a golf‑ball‑sized lesion on his brain stem a very rare condition which had caused him to lose all function on his right side. On May 21st, 2026, Cairo was admitted to John Hunter Hospital, where he bravely endured 3 aggressive brain stem surgeries in the hope of removing the lesion and restoring his movement.

<div>We are inching towards 4 months in hospital and hopeful this 3 surgery will be successful. And with continued intensive physical therapy every day he will be home soon.
