Cairngorms - Indepedent UK Film

This short film is about the process of grieving and how to cope with the loss. It tells the story of two childhood friends, who were, including Will, brought up in the same foster home, reconnecting in an open wide field in the cairngorms national park, where they used to spend their summer holidays as children running around and playing in the tall grass.
 
 
The story follows two best friends Lora, George grieving the loss of their best friend William, who passed away 10 years ago, during a freak accident.
Now, both in their late twenties, Lora and George are reuniting on the anniversary day of Will’s death, 10 years on. Retracing their childhood memories, growing up in a foster home, having a conflict/fight/disagreement about their relationship and talk about the struggles of coping with grief and loss.
 
‘Dedicated to the ones we’ve loved, still love, lost, so deeply miss and never forgotten. ‘
 
The scenes will be taking place in the year 1974 in a wide-open field located on a walk route towards the Lochnagar Mountain, in Aberdeenshire.
 
 
Heartbreak, Grief, Friendship and the fond memories of childhood are the 4 main subjects that will be focused on in the story.

The movie will be filmed this Summer of 2020 and hope to be edited and completed by October 2020, where I will submit the movie to Filmfreeway.com and offer a free film screening that winter. 

The funds will be put towards the Film crew,  the actors and the travel and production costs.
As the location and accommodation have already been sorted, the money will go towards funding the actors time and talent, the film crew's time and talent, including the equipment hire,  the still photographer/videographer, director,  the travel costs of crew to Aberdeen and the post-editing/colour grading of the film.

£1000 - Will cover hiring the two Actors
£2000 - Will cover actors and everyone's travel costs
£3000 - Will cover  actors, travel and the DoP.
£4000 - Will cover the actors, travel, DoP, still photographer, lighting,  sound tech and camera assistant.
£5000 - Will cover the actors, travel, DoP, lighting, sound tech, drone operator, camera assistant and post video production
