Caili Hendley’s battle to conquer cancer

Caili is a 31 year old single mother of 2 beautiful daughters, 7 year old Alice Rose and 6 month old Arabella.
Over the past 10 years, Caili has had a recurring case of synovial sarcoma, a rare cancer with a low survival rate.
In 2009, the initial diagnosis was in her right thigh. She received 6 weeks of radiation followed by surgery to remove the tumor, additional surgeries were needed after a blood infection nearly took her life, resulting in an emergency air transport to Vancouver, where she remained for 2 weeks.
Caili then underwent a very aggressive Chemotherapy regiment to try to keep the cancer from returning.
In 2013, we received news that she has a stage 4 synovial sarcoma in her right lung. She received surgery to remove the tumor and a portion of her lung.
We just received the devastating news that the cancer has returned for a third time, this time on her left lung.
At this time the prognosis is unknown. Due to the severity of this awful disease Caili has been unable to work. Her family has to take time off work to take her to appointments 4-6 hours away as our small town doesn’t have the necessary resources or treatment facilities to help her.
We have never asked for help before but now we are reaching out. If you are able to help support Caili and her family at this time of uncertainty it would be greatly appreciated.
Any funds received will go towards her medications, treatments, extended out of town stays (meals, hotels, fuel ),so her daughters can remain by her side .
If you know Caili you know a woman with a great sense of humor, a kind and generous heart, full of life and love and would do anything for her girls.
Caili is a fighter and we believe whole heartedly that she can beat this for the third time.
