Cailee Redburn's Scoliosis Surgery

My daughter Cailee was Diagnosed with severe Scoliosis back in 2014.  The curve in her spine gradually got even worse. I started to study right away and began trying theropy. Reading on the traditional scoliosis fusion surgrey drove me  away from the option. With no luck with ALL other routes, we have came to having no choice but move forward with surgery. Her spinal curve is now at a heart wrenching 70 degrees.  It is a daily reminder that we are facing something we can not beat without outside help.The crossroad we meet today is moving forward with a fusion (Lumbar Spinal Fusion) surgery, which is covered here in Michigan with our insurance. Our other and better option is VBT (Vertebral Body Tethering) surgery rather then a Fusion Surgery she will be fused with much less flexability and open for more issues. I would be more then happy to consider the VBT Surgery but with technology avail outside of Michigan, a new approach has been discovered and used succefully on a daily basis.  A Dr in NYC has accepted her as a patient but does not accept our insurance here in Michigan. I am not someone to take money from anyone without earning it but i am at a dead end and i dont beleive my daughter should get the short end of her spine. Cailee is involved in sports and regular physical high school activists. Im not sure where this will go but its worth a try. We need to raise a down payment of $10k to get this surgery. If you know ME, you know my daughters are my LIFE. Im not begging just asking for help. 100 people at $100. 500 people at $20. 1000 people at $10. Im praying for resaults. Thank You.
