On December 4th, 2024 my father Pablo Delgado was commuting to work near Kendall Florida when he was involved in a horrific car accident that nearly cost him his life.

He sustained severe head trauma, multiple fractures, broken ribs, and had a large part of his colon removed due to trauma.

At this time he has been placed under medical coma in order for his brain to heal as he still has a lot of swealling in his brain.

The road ahead is still unclear but what is known is that he will have a long long journey of recuperation and rehab if and when he comes out of this. And having been the sole provider for himself and partner Odalys I am asking those who can spare any amount big or small to cover some of the costs that have mounted since this horrific unexpected accident.

Pablo is still fighting ♡

He is currently under medical coma awaiting more surgery's to his brain. They were able to fix the trauma to his colon however neurology is still uncertain of his neurological status.

My father finds himself in a horrible and scary situation.

After the initial brain and skull surgery to his face and skull he was transferred to a rehab facility where he received the care he needed and was progressing well until a desperate Hospice company approached his non English speaking partner and offered to place my father in Hospice services and was left in a vegetated state soon after.

Once his partner realized what that place was she choose to discharge him.

He was sent home to fend for himself with minimal nursing attention. He now finds himself at Kendal Hospital where I have to say has been a roller coaster of improper health care and medical set backs.

He remains on bed rest, has a trach and a feeding tube. He developed pneumonia and a UTI and once he was admitted the first thing the hospital asked was. "Where is he being discharged too? Because he can't stay here". I have had every Hospice company from Florida offer me every thing under the moon so long as I sign a DNR. We are currently battling with the Hospital as they are not respecting our Healthcare rights.

There have been some health set backs as there has been some talk about possibly placing him on a ventilator due to the pneumonia.

We are seaking legal action towards the hospital for negligence and breech of rights.

Please help us in the fight for Pablo as we battle the Healthcare system to find proper humane treatment. He deserves a chance to fight for his life!

Our last option would be to take him home with 24 hour nursing assistance however that is very costly and the health insurance only covers 2 hrs per day.
