Dear Guests and Friends,
When I bought the café, I was determined to make it a favorite choice of my guests to grab breakfast & lunch by providing superior service, top quality product, and genuine kindness from not only me, but also my amazing team. Together we have worked hard to be the café we felt this community deserved. My team and I have been passionate to build relationships with our guests and we are honored that you and become part of our café family.
But now we are faced with a perilous situation: Due to Covid-19 and the fact that we are closed to the public, funds are running incredibly low to cover our overhead and make sure we have enough cash on-hand to re-open once we make it through.
I am asking for your immediate support. Although, I have applied for disaster assistance, it is not guaranteed and if approved, it could be months before the funds would even be available. The road ahead is scary and uncertain, but I promise you this, with your help and support, Café la France-South Main will continue to grow and thrive. So, like so many small business owners who are facing similar situations, I am using this fundraising campaign as an additional effort to support the store.
Funds given to this campaign will help the café weather this storm and make sure we can ultimately reach our goal, which is to keep the café afloat and remain a staple in the Providence community. Even once this passes, I am unsure what the market will look like when we can re-open. Because of this, the campaign will help support Café la France-South Main both in the immediate and over the next several months, and longer.
