CACS B-Ball Team: Unfinished Business in Lakeland
Donation protected
The Crossroad Academy Boys Basketball Team has withstood many trials this basketball season. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, we have punched our ticket to the Final 4 in Lakeland, FL and we need your help to get there. COVID-19 severely dampened our fundraising efforts this season.
The FHSAA 1A State Championship Semifinals will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the FP Funding Center. We have to cover transportation costs, lodging, meals, etc. If we win on Wednesday, then we have to stay and play in the final game on Friday, March 5, 2021. We've estimated that it will cost us $10,000 to get the team and coaches there, with the ability to stay overnight if needed.
What you've got to understand is that no money is being generated (to our benefit) from these games - no door, no concession, nothing to help offset the post season costs. We've got to raise this money fast. We're a Charter School, we don't have deep pockets. This is only our 5th year in the Florida High School Athletic Association and our second bid to state.
We're asking everyone to dig deep and chip in as much as you can to help Crossroad out. Every dollar is appreciated. And yes, this is tax deductible since we're a non-profit organization. If you want to know more about Crossroad Academy, you can visit us at www.mycacs.com
