Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico

My father and mother bought a condo in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico in 2000.  For the last 17 years we have traveled to this remote west coast area, and  shared many wonderful memories. We have met THE MOST amazing people that we consider family over the years.

As you all know, Hurrican Maria has devastated the entire island.  Our hearts are broken for all of Puerto Rico, but we worry that our small village of Boqueron, 3 hours from San Juan will have an extremely hard time receiving aid. The roads are damaged and are not highways like we have in the United States.

We know of a permanent resident that will be traveling back to Puerto Rico as soon as she can get on a flight.  We would like to have this money go directly to her to hand deliver to the people and community of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. 

This money will be used for water, food and assistance in removing debree and rebuilding the infastructure. 

At this point she is hoping to travel sometime next week, but has nothing confirmed yet. 

Its immpossible to sit back and watch the devastation unfold in Puerto Rico and not help in some way. Being that this community holds such a special place in our lives and hearts, a simple go fund me campaign seemed to be the best way to help.
