After 100 days spent in the hospital in recovery, Bob Fass was ready to relocate to a more comfortable home with his wife.
Sadly the move ended in disaster as a two alarm blaze started in their new home the night they moved in, ruining the roof and resulting in the escape and disappearance of Plutarch the cat, among other losses both financial and emotional.
This is a very cruel and unfortunate situation for Bob, host of Radio Unnameable lo these many years, who listeners of WBAI and a host of other stations will know as a truly beloved innovator and voice of humanity.
An excellent film on the show can be found online, and aired on PBS.
Bob remains in good spirits but make no mistake, he could really use your help right about now. Please make others aware of this drive on any and all appropriate platforms.
Funds will defray the costs of this setback, which include legal costs, storage for household items & the remainder of the R.U. archive, finding a new place to live, as well as to clean boxes of household stuff and mitigate smoke damage to belongings. Storage costs alone for the items in limbo, including the precious archive, is currently $600 a month.
