Thank you so much for visiting this page. It is meant to support Janet Lea Pickering's family, Angela, Allison and Johnathan, while processing the loss of their loving mother, and Lucy's Grandma Janet.
We are preparing for something that none of us have experienced before. Through the dense fog we see a long list of unmade arrangements and unanticipated costs. We know that we want to share a celebration of her life with more of our family. And we hope to visit the place that she looked forward to visiting for many years, the mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway, to spread her ashes as she wished.
Some expected costs involve: the viewing service and other funeral costs, moving everything from her home, lost work hours, visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway/travel costs to spread her ashes.
