Ethiopia - College Bound Tour

 
Greetings Family, I was successfully elected a 2014-2015 Site Ambassodor for College Bound, Inc., a Washington, D.C. based, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, that offers public/charter school students in grades 8-12 academic enrichment and resources to prepare for and succeed in college. Founded in 1991, the organization offers tutoring, mentoring, ACT/SAT preparation, academic and career guidance free-of-charge to assist students in the District of Columbia metropolitan area in meeting their post-secondary educational goals.

College Bound is hosting its 4th annual Study Tour to newly elected Site Ambassadors. The Study Tour is an opportunity for us as Student Ambassadors (student leaders at the Academic Mentoring Sites) to visit Amsterdam and Ethiopia, in an effort to expand our cultural knowledge, awareness and provide student outreach services.

I am blessed by God to be selected as a Site Ambassador by my mentors and pees as well as blessed to be given the oppotunity to travel to Ethiopia to represent God, College Bound and my country.
Our focus this year is to raise $2,500 which is half of the financial obligation needed to support our newly elected Ambassadors' trip abroad in November 2014, 

I appreciate your donation to sponsor my trip too Ethiopia and allow me too be a blessing to sutdents who look like me but don't have the same opportunities I have here in our beloved USA. Your personal commitment will be such a blessing to me and to the students of Ethopia and it would help me reach my goal.
