<div>Hunger hinders learning. Children who are food insecure are more likely to struggle in school, experience developmental delays, and have behavioral issues. But for some children, school meals are their most consistent and nutritious source of food.

<div>We are kayaking the Mississippi River from source to sea to raise money for the fight against food insecurity. We plan to donate the proceeds to <strong>two* </strong>Mississippi organizations: <a href="https://www.feedingthefuturems.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Feeding the Future of Holmes County</a> and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/BFAEmpoweredbyFaith/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blessings for All Empowered by Faith</a> of Montgomery County.
