Miracles For Maddie

I can’t even imagine how hard it is to watch your young child go through something like this. I am reaching out to you today, to ask for your help in easing some of the financial worries for the family of this sweet, two year old girl, Madeline Fox. Her parents are Nathan and Emily Workman Fox. They have two children and another on the way. Her parents are both former students of mine and part of my church family.
Maddie has been experiencing medical issues for over a year. During that time she has been diagnosed with lymphoid hyperplasia and eosinophilic and was just recently diagnosed with leukemia. They started treatments immediately. Just in the last two weeks, she has endured spinal taps, numerous blood transfusions, and chemotherapy. The next two years for Maddie and her family consists of weekly chemotherapy treatments and numerous visits to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Both Nathan and Emily give back to their community. Nathan is a volunteer firefighter and Emily runs a community preschool. I know our communities will rally around them. We can make miracles happen. Some of us may be from small towns, but we can do big things. We can support them in this battle and let them know that people care and are willing to help them. We together can help ease the stress that comes along with having a child that is experiencing medical problems.
All proceeds from this campaign will go to the Fox family through Wanda Workman, Maddie’s grandmother who is beneficiary of the account. The withdrawals will go straight to Maddie’s bank account. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to help them with travel expenses, medical supplies, loss of wages, and medical expenses that aren’t covered by insurance.
