My brother Dave is currently fighting for every breath he takes in ICU at the Cleveland Clinic. Most friends and family know his past history from his horrific truck accident years ago to his current struggle with his damaged lungs.
Dave is hoping to undergo a double lung transplant. The reality of this depends on his ability to improve from his current condition. He has a rough road ahead...but he has proven in the past to be able to fight for his life and beat the odds.
The medical bills are staggering. Lisa his wife is juggling being at his side to trying to run his trucking company.
Stress and emotions run high.
Anyone who knows Dave, knows this gentle man has a heart of gold. He has given unselfishly to most of us at one time or another. His love and dedication to family and friends is unspoken.
It's not always easy to ask and pray for help....but I am asking. First, please pray for his healing and recovery to take him to the next stage....a transplant.
