Adam's Fight

Adam is a fighter. A positive, upbeat 30 year old who's been battling Muscular Dystrophy since it was discovered when he was 9 years old. When he was first diagnosed we were given the worst diagnosis...Duchenne's. He stayed strong and beat those odds and it was discovered he had a different type! We got to keep him around much longer than the original prognosis! He's the oldest child of 3 and is a huge role model on patience and positivity. Two weeks ago Adam was diagnosed with pneumonia and influenza A. For people with muscular dystrophy that can be devastating as they don't have the same strength as people who don't have it. His condition deteriorated and he was transferred to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He's been going through a tiresome cycle of improving then setbacks. His family have been by his side through this and unable to work their full time hours. Adam needs the family support to help him get through this. I debated about trying this and decided to do it for Adam's expenses and his parents loss of work hours. All funds will go towards Adam's medical expenses, gas, food, anything that will make this journey a smidge easier...
