Rewarding academic excellence in Romania

I need your help to send twelve kids on the vacation of their lives!
I was contacted by a social worker in Vaslui, one of the poorest parts of Romania, who told me about twelve exceptional high school and beginning college students who are in state protective custody for various reasons, who she would like to take on a summer vacation. Because of the poverty in the area, scarcity of government funding, and the circumstances they live in, these kids haven't ever had the opportunity to travel much.
She requested that I help raise funds to send them on a trip to the Black Sea as a reward for their good grades and amazing success at school, in spite of considerable obstacles and difficulties at home.
I know that money is tight for everyone, but I believe that with lots of small donations, we can do it! We have two weeks to gather the money, so they have time to go before school starts in the fall. We are only asking for a total of $2500. This will cover transportation, accommodation, food, and entertainment for a week at the Black Sea in Romania for all twelve kids--that's quite a deal if you think about it.
