What is the Mission Trip?
Shoreline's High School Ministry, is going to the Dominican Republic this spring. While there we will be partnering with Ninos De La Luz which is a ministry that cares for orphaned boys. We will be joining their team in doing ministry projects as well as sharing the gospel with the local community. Also we will be partnering with California Surfers DR to run a surf camp to help create a fun enviroment for the children in Dominican Republic.
What this means for me?
I have been blessed to be apart of this trip as a leader. I will be able to love on this community and show them the love of Jesus. I will be able to serve the community and experience Jesus in a new way along side some amaznig high school students.
What is WorshipU / Bethel Worship School?
WorshipU is a worship school that Bethel Church puts on every summer. It is a two week training camp for Worship Leaders from all around the globe. They provide many classes during these two weeks. From classes on the many different instruments, worship leading, recording/pro-tools classes, and song-writing. These classes are all taught by their own worship leaders.
What this means to me?
Worship has been a big part of my walk with Jesus. Being able to learn from many worship leaders I look up to would be an amznig oppurtunity. I want to be able to grow in what God is calling me to and be able to step out of my comfort zone.
