Hello Friends,
Our dear Bonnie was in an accident yesterday (7.26) that required immediate amputation of her rear, passenger side leg. She has such a wonderful spirit, this girl, and is a very important member of the family, as many of you already know. Needless to say, we told the docs to do whatever necessary to ensure her continued place in the crew.
We picked her up this afternoon and she is back at home with her brother, Homey, and the rest of her family. She's in an immense amount of pain and still not eating, but she is able to stand and move around already! How grateful we are. She complains never and even has the spirit to occasionally wag her tail and give a kiss.
We are asking for donations to help pay for the emergency vet bills, which totalled around $5,500. We'd pay it again if we had to. Any amount helps, and is so very much appreciated. I am grateful for all of you, and so is Bonnie.
