Well Wishes for Wendy

Donation protected
As you may or may not already know my daughter Wendy was diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 2 breast cancer on March 19th, the day after her 36th birthday. TNBC is an aggressive form of cancer that tends to grow and spread more quickly than other types of breast cancer. Wendy has been receiving weekly chemo treatments since April. Next will be surgery followed by radiation treatments. To make matters more complicated Wendy also has epilepsy, and has had 6-7 seizures since beginning chemotherapy. Because of the seizures she cannot drive herself the 40 miles each week to her treatment center making her completely dependent on the kindness of friends and family for all her transprotation needs. Living in rural Pennsylvania - public transportation isn't an option.

Since getting her diagnosis Wendy has tried to continue working but due to the fatigue of the chemo and the transportation issues, her hours have dwindled down to about 10-12 per week. Insurance is covering her health care costs so far, thank goodness, but meeting her monthly living expense has become increasing difficult for her. Many of you have been asking, "How can I help?" or "Let me know if there is anything you need". Donating a few dollars would be of an enormous help to her right now. No amount would be too small.

I will continue to post updates on Wendy's progress throughout her battle. Please check back often. Thank you for your continued prayers, donations and mostly, thank you for helping!
