<div>Investigadora, docente universitaria y gestora cultural con una prominente carrera en el ámbito cinematográfico venezolano, ha sido diagnosticada con un carcinoma en el pulmón izquierdo que requiere un pronto tratamiento de quimioterapia. Recientemente ha superado positivamente un cuadro pulmonar infeccioso, tras recibir adecuado tratamiento y cuidados.

<div>Nancy se encuentra estable, en casa, en tratamiento armónico para recuperar su peso y elevar los valores de ciertos parámetros que habían disminuido recientemente, y sobre todo se halla de buen ánimo, como ha sido la característica y signo de identidad a lo largo de toda su vida.

<div>Hace 30 años Nancy ganó una batalla contra el cáncer y con nuestro apoyo está dispuesta a poner todo su empeño en lograrlo nuevamente. Son muchos los proyectos por delante y sus deseos de seguir aportando de la forma desinteresada que le caracteriza desde la educación, la investigación y la gestión cultural, y desde luego en los espacios amorosos de la amistad y la familia.

<div>Los exámenes y analíticas hasta ahora realizados nos permiten ser optimistas acerca del buen curso que puede tener el tratamiento indicado por los médicos que la están atendiendo, que en todo caso requiere ser iniciado cuanto antes.

<div>De momento, su familia ha podido hacer frente a los distintos gastos en los que se ha debido incurrir, pero es por todos conocidos la compleja situación económica que persiste en Venezuela y los altos costos que significan tanto los medicamentos como los exámenes, tomografías y analíticas, así como la cobertura de la asistencia profesional especializada que requiere debido a su cuadro de salud.

<div>Our very beloved Nancy De Miranda needs our support to recover her health; always generous with others, now she is the one who needs us.

<div>Researcher, university lecturer and cultural manager with a prominent career in the Venezuelan film industry, she has been diagnosed with a carcinoma in her left lung that requires prompt chemotherapy treatment. She has recently overcome an infectious lung condition, after receiving adequate treatment and care.

<div>Nancy is stable, at home, undergoing harmonious treatment to recover her weight and raise the values of certain parameters that had recently decreased, and above all she is in good spirits, as has been her characteristic and sign of identity throughout her life.

<div>Thirty years ago Nancy won a battle against cancer and with our support she is ready to put all her efforts into achieving it again. There are many projects ahead of her and her desire to continue contributing in the selfless way that characterises her in education, research and cultural management, and of course in the loving spaces of friendship and family.

<div>The tests and analyses carried out so far allow us to be optimistic about the good course of the treatment indicated by the doctors who are treating her, which in any case needs to be started as soon as possible.

<div>For the time being, her family has been able to meet the various expenses incurred, but we are all aware of the complex economic situation that persists in Venezuela and the high cost of medicines, tests, scans and analyses, as well as the coverage of the specialised professional assistance she requires due to her health condition.

<div>In this context, family and friends of our dear Nancy De Miranda have joined together to organise this fundraising campaign, and we appeal to all those who can lend a hand to do so through any donation, no matter how small, every contribution counts, as well as the support in the diffusion of this campaign.
