Help Jose Fight Cancer!
In May of 2016 my dad Jose was diagnosed with Sarcoma, a soft tissue cancer. After two surgeries, a series of radiation treatments, and a lot of love, we beat it! Dad beat cancer! Through it all dad was spending time with his granddaughter, telling us bad jokes, and being a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Now we have another battle on our hands. In September of this year, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The treatments set by his doctors include:
- radiation "seeds" and SpaceOAR gel placed in his body
- 9 weeks of daily radiation treatments
- injections over the course of three years, and
- a lot of different types of scans (MRI, CT).
Dad's radiation treatments start this coming January, but he's already received the gel and seeds this month.
Your help would mean the world to us. Any contribution regardless of amount is a blessing, and helps to make sure dad can stay on track to receive all of his treatments.
