In 2009 my Dad, Norm Doggett was diagnosed with prostate cancer. For all of you that know him well, you know he is not a supporter of traditional medicine. He has been very successfully fighting this naturally by diet however things have taken a turn for the worse recently.
They have been paying for some treatments and all other natural remedies out of pocket as these are not covered under BC Medical. At age 76 he has been working full time to cover bills and costs but has finished his last job.
His latest tests have determined that he is needing to do the following treatments : Loco regional hyperthermia, IV therapies including mistletoe, ascorbic acid and immune system support treatment. He also needs to have a PET Scan which BC Medical does not cover. The cost of these treatments will be approximately $10,000 a $12,000 plus all travel and incidentals. Although they don’t expect to have everything covered any help would be greatly appreciated.
