Hello,

My name is Aiden Braswell and I am a current Life Scout at Troop 19 out of Huntersville, NC, and I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Project. For my project, I will be revitalizing and constructing a native pollinator garden in the Learning Garden at W.R. Odell Primary School in Concord, NC. This garden is used by over 950 students at the school for various learning opportunities and activities. These students range from eager kindergartners through second graders to the students with special needs who enjoy its sensory aspects.

My first step in the project will be preparing the area for the updating, which will consist of general cleanup, weed control, and placing a weed barrier down to prevent future issues. As the project moves into the next phase, I will be rebuilding the existing flower beds, creating new flower beds, and making a gravel pathway around them for easy access to care for the plants that will be growing. Once complete, this will be an area visited daily by our native pollinators to help keep our local ecosystem stabilized and the students at W.R. Odell Primary School for years to come.

All proceeds of this fundraiser will go to purchase the materials I will need to make my beneficiary Mrs. Wallace's vision a reality. Any remaining funds will be donated to her for future needs of the garden. There is no donation too small and I want to thank you all for your consideration and donations.
