Friends and family of Corynn Lozano are raising money to help her fight breast cancer. Join us!
Corynn was just diagnosed with stage 2/3 breast cancer. In addition to the devastating news that she is battling cancer for a third time at the age of 36, Corynn's doctors have informed her that the chemotherapy will make her infertile. Corynn has one chance to undergo fertility preservation (this week) in an effort to have one more child after recovery. However, the egg retrieval procedure is extremely costly and requires payment upfront, which her insurance provider has refused to pay. We are asking friends and family to join us in our goal to raise $15,000 in one week. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us reach our goal and would be greatly appreciated.
A little more about Corynn…
At the age of 15, Corynn was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease (a form of Lymphoma). She underwent chemotherapy and radiation as a sophomore in high school.
One year after her treatment for Hodgkin's Disease, Corynn wrote this poem entitled "Live for the Day":
Live for the day,
that's what life is all about.
Have fun while you're here,
for time is running out.
Though life is short
you must play safe,
because cancer and such will take life away.
I know from experience
what cancer can do,
but I'm one of the lucky ones
who is pulling through.
To all of the people
who take life for granted,
be thankful for,
the life you were handed.
Be ready to challenge
what comes your way,
and no matter what happens
live for the day.
At the age of 30, and only 10 months after her wedding day, Corynn found out she had Thyroid Cancer. Once again, she fought cancer and beat it.
Corynn must now battle cancer for a third time and undergo intensive treatment for breast cancer. She is a fighter and she's ready to beat this cancer, but she needs our support. Please help Corynn, her husband Tobias Wade, and her family during this difficult time. Thank you so much.
