KEEP THE OLDIES ALIVE! I need your help to keep my dream alive, and to keep the wonderful oldies music of the 50s, 60s & 70s alive! I'm teetering on the edge between alive and dead. My internet radio station, Pop Gold Radio, needs money to replace the hard drive, pay for the labor of a computer person, pay for a backup PC, air monitor, mixer, headphone & headhone stand, and a battery backup in case of a power outage. Then there are the two monthly fees, one for my streaming provider and the other to pay the extensive royalties required (I believe strongly that music makers and songwriters should be compensated for their work). There is also the domain name(s) twice yearly fees. $7500 is probably too low a sum for a goal, but I am being conservative with my expectations. If this amount or more is raised, 1) Pop Gold Radio will remain broadcasting, and 2) Will remain commercial-free, funded by you, the listeners, and my dear friends.
