Help Lowry Knock Out Cancer

Dear Family and Friends,
Lowry has been in the hospital at Bowling Green Kentucky for 9 days. On Wednesday, July 23, 2014 he was transferred by ambulance to Lexington Kentucky. Lowry has been battling stage 4 colorectal cancer for over 3 years. He has taken over 60 chemo treatments. He is a fighter. His willpower is unbelievable. I think of myself in his condition feeling sorry for myself and wanting to give up and curl up in fetal position but not Lowry. He is up drinking his juice, eating to LIVE, educating himself on nutrition and cancer fighting aids. He is telling me things to get my children to try to eat instead of garbage. He is fighting for his life. He is experiencing unbearable pain associated with an obstruction in his intestines. He is waiting on the doctors to perform a surgical procedure that will hopefully give him some relief. Lowry Dozier has an amazing strong beautiful caretaker by his side. His wife Tasha has unbelievable strength. She has been by his side fulfilling her vow of in sickness and in health. God is giving her stregnth. I have witnessed her have conversations with family, friends, doctors, nurses and not once has she broken down. She talks about medical procedures and situations that are completely greek to me yet she knows exactly what is going on and is sharp! Those pain meds better be on time or the wrath of Tasha comes out. And by God that's the way it should be. She expects excellent care for her husband. She loves Lowry with all her heart and soul. She is fighting for his life too. Lowry has two beautiful daughters, two adorable grandchildren, and he has so many family and friends who love and support him more than he will ever know! Many Prayers have been going up to the Big Man and I ask that you please continue to lift them up in Prayer.
With the help of friends and family, we have decided to establish this fundraising site to aid Lowry and Tasha Dozier as they continue to knock out cancer. We welcome and appreciate all donations. We have not discussed this Lowry and Tasha. We got together and decided it would be nice to get this going and present them with funds to show our support.
