Let's help out the Marshall, John Shultz

Hello friends and family,
This go fund me page is dedicated to our dear friend John Shultz. If you don't know him you should, and if you know him you know how important this will mean to him, his friends, and his family. John (aka Shulty) has been entertaining San Clemente for the past 61 years.He has glassed 1000's of surfboards in this town, but changed careers to become the Marshall at San Clemente Municipal. He may have yelled at you to move on, kicked you off the course, or has provided you with entertainment in the form of a funny joke while Bella his dog runs two paws off the golf cart as he speeds away. Man do we love Shultzy. This page is dedicated to the last four years, and 15 surgeries he has endured do to skin cancer. He has what is known as Squamous cell cancer that has been rapidly growing. These last few surgeries have been very intense, going as far as him having to loose his left ear. This last surgery on 7/16/14 was 17 hours long, as doctors at UCI Medical removed more tumors, and helped reconstruct his face from past surgeries. They removed a chunck from his leg, to help with the reconstruction.Where he now has over 80 staples, and its going to be a long recovery. A little goes along way, and can help Shultz in this battle he has been fighting. Those who know him can tell you he is a fighter. He has the best spirit, and is determined to beat this but he needs our help. If it were up to him he would be back at work tomorrow, this time thats not the case. If we could lighten the burden by sharing this with all of our friends, by asking them for just a small donation it would mean the world to our friend John. I will update this regularly to share his progress with pictures as well. I do ask that when you donate, if you have a funny story you can share it would be much appreciated. Lets show this guy how much we love him. A special shout out to Patty Clarke for all her time, and dedication she has given John, his mom, and Bella.
