Medical and Living Expenses for Our Brother Abel

I want to start by saying thank you to all who are taking the time to read this, I understand that this may be yet another Covid story your reading. Lord knows I have read and heard plenty of heart wrenching stories this year due to this horrible virus. So, I am sad to have to share what my family is currently facing.
Well to start its been one heck of a year losing several family members this year already (not Covid-19 related). My little brother Abel is 23 years old and is currently fighting for his life right now. He contracted Covid-19 slightly over one week ago and started having breathing issues earlier this week. He was admitted to our local hospital but was transported to St Elizabeth in Appleton due to the severity of his case. I cannot lie and say that he was as healthy as could be because that is far from the truth, which makes it that much harder for him to go through.
He is currently 100% on oxygen, stable but the more we talk to his medical team we are finding out just how unhealthy my little brother is. He has heart issues that may require future surgery, when he pulls through this. Currently getting scans for blood clots and they are working at decreasing the large amount of water he has retained. We are told when he pulls through, he will be on oxygen and feeding tubes for some time, with a long road to recovery.
Like many this year, my brother’s employment was affected by Covid-19 and he has been unemployed for a good portion of 2020 as he works through a temp agency that assists in finding employment opportunities that may be in his area. He was working for a few weeks but had to self-quarantine once he was positive for Covid-19.
We are asking for any help we can get to cover medical expenses and living expenses as he will not have income coming in during his stay in the hospital. If you cannot donate, please share and please PRAY. Our family believes in the power of prayer.
If you know Abel know he is a gentle giant, 6’ 1 and my mommas baby boy. A younger brother to 4, older brother to 3 and uncle to 7. He is a fur daddy to his Pitbull Smokey who he loves so much! We know that many were not fortunate to make it through 2020 and we pray that we will get more time with our brother. Please pray for him and our Family! Thank you!!
