Recovery for Jimmy

He has come a long way...but has much farther to travel!  In fact, from California to Illinois!!  My now 24 year old son Jimmy was violently assaulted in November 2011 and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury.  His journey since then has been long, heartbreaking and not without it's challenges.  I have been fighting to get him the help he so desperately needs and it looks like that help is in Illinois.  There is a facility there (Neuro Restorative) that has agreed to take him and provide him with the intense, specialized treatment that he needs. I am his person.  The one who has struggled with him down this hard long road. Without much notice, I have been notified that it is my responsibility to get him there and will also need to pick him up in 3-4 months.  I am financially unable to do so.  Please help if you can....any amount will help!!  It is not clear if we will drive, fly, take train, etc. but the estimated cost is close to $2,000.00 for the way there and I would assume about the same for the return trip.  Any extra raised would be given to Jimmy to have for any neccessities during his stay in Illinois.
