Dental Emergency

First of all, Peace and blessings on you all!

This is a very vulnerable thing for me to do. I'm equal parts embarrassed and impressed at the courage to ask, but I feel like that's what community is for, right? It takes courage to ask for help and I'm a huge advocate for doing things that scare you = so here I am walking the walk!

Here goes;

Two weeks ago, I fractured a tooth that has a mercury filling in it and ended up having to find a dentist certified to safely remove the amalgam (mercury) fillings and repair it as it is classified as 'highly toxic waste'.

Cut to the part where the Dentist tells me the best (2 crowns and a filling) and worst-case scenario (extraction and a bridge) and I throw up in the office toilet because:

1. I'd been hanging upside down on and off for about 2.5 hours after drinking a giant green smoothie (very bad idea by the way), and
2. Because she told me how much it was going to cost me!!!

I'm reaching out to my family, friends, colleagues, and anyone else who would like to help me out, because we're extremely short on funds (like many of us facing extreme financial crisis after this year) and I have to have my procedure done on two weeks, and also because mercury is highly toxic and has been linked to contributing to many health issues such as:
Respiratory Issues
Allergies,
MS
Migraines (suffer from those :( )
Thyroid issues (guess who had thyroid cancer??)
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Fertility Issues

Vapours escape from filled teeth during simple everyday activities such as eating, drinking hot beverages, and brushing your teeth and has no business being in anyone's mouth, leading to heavy meatal toxicity and dis-ease.

Most of you know that we recently relocated to Canada + moved again once we got here, and are starting our lives from scratch after many financial losses (shipping company went bankrupt, a single income that was cut due to covid + not being able to work as much as I'd like with the kids being home (more reasons for the throwing up part that occured), so every little helps.

I appreciate each and everyone of you reading this regardless of whether you donate or not, but know that for each person who donates, I'll donate one hour of my time to a local charity who needs volunteers.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
